The first Godfather was a surprisingly good game, it did the most thing right. You would think the squeal could excel over the first, but it does so many things wrong. The game does have more depth than the first, but the driving and shooting is bad, the graphics are also a step back and the game has horrible pop-ins. Some vehicle comes into view in plain sight and turning the camera around may make cars disappear.
But looking past the errors, the game has a lot of content to please those who stick with it. Don't expect a GTA clone, and don't expect anywhere near the polsih of GTA or Saints Row. But if you like a Crime syndicate Simulator, Sims or things like that this game should float your boat.
