HTC Diamond

The newest phone from HTC. It's an amazing phone with few drawbacks. The biggest disappointment is the battery life, other than that I'm completely satisfied with it.

Here's a expansive and updated Norwegian Diamond FAQ written by me >> Diamond Faq <<

Here is a list of "must have" programs for it

>> Touch3D menu config
>> Remote Desktop (Recomended)
>> S2p Music player (ipod touch clone) v0.50
>> TCPMP player (Divx/xvid/Flv/Avi Player)
>> Diamond Tweak (All the tweaks in one easy program) v0.50
>> Registory editor (only use it if you know what you are doing)

Metal Gear Online

Here's a great war story I'll share with you guys.

I was playing on the losing team, and we where 2 kills behind. we had to kill 3people without dieing to win the match. My team mates rushed as a group to the blue base while I decided to go another rout solo with my trusted SVD.

Time was running low, and as the teams best player I knew it was up to me to save us. Suddenly I saw three people hiding on the left side of map. Full of adrenaline and with little time left I blind fired all my shots. 2of them landed in the opponents heads but that left one guy remaining. I knew he would take me if I reloaded so I switched to my trusty tranquilizer gun, thinking that a draw game is better than losing. He got ready to throw a grenade, but I got lucky and hit him in the head. He fell asleep and dropped his grenade. BOOM! He was killed by his own grenade and we won the match. EPIC multiplayer finish.

And things like this makes MGO stand out from the rest. I still hope we get a Xbox live version.

La-li-lu-le-lo No More

I'w completed MGS4. And Ohhh what a game.
It pretty much goes without saying, but this game was one hell of a ride. And for me who has a genuine interest in the story of MGS this game wraps it up good.

This game is gorgeous and well thought through with million of small details and extras everywhere.

But to be honest, this game is more fan service than a evolution. And all though this game is great, it's not my favorite MGS game.

The boss fights where a let down and some of the movies scenes where way to long and without any important substance.

But non the less, Buy this game, Play this game, Love this game. And don't forget to grab the MGS Mobile sms sound from my ring tone collection to the right ;)

A TOXIC HAZE

When I first heard that Free Radical was making an next gen game with Ubisoft I was really hyped and excited. But after seeing some trailers and hearings some interviews got a bit skeptical. Every time I saw a video the game seemed more and more average, but I still believed Free Radical [the makers of the awesome Timesplitter series] could work it's magic.

Yesterday I got the game. And after a 4GB install I was ready to kick some ass and use some nectar. At first I thought " hey, this isn't that bad, if it only goes upwards from here I'll enjoy myself". A smart hidden conversation between some troops was as good as it got, and the game didn't turn for the better. The dialog is corny ass hell "who's the the numba one Gangstaha baby" and other wanna be cool Hip-hop trash talk was tossed around. And hearing the lines multiple times in the same level didn't help. The game looks good but other than that it's really average and doesn't excel in any other way. The driving sequence in the second level was horrible and I found out that killing your own men only respawned a new soldier to your side without any deprecation. So you never feel attached to the soldiers your fighting with. The weapons I tested was boring and only had one fire mode and after playing a couple of hours I was so bored that I turned the game off and unistalled it.

So for me this game is a huge disappointment. Sure the game could get better after you play it more, and there is a co-op mode. But a game that starts this bad doesn't get a second chance in my book. I do admit I had overly high expectations but that is only normal when its Free radical in a EXCLUSIVE PS3 game. If you haven't played any of Free radicals earlier games and only stumbled upon haze you may actually enjoy it. For me it was a waste of time. And I hope this game stays on PS3 so that Free radical can work on Time splitter 4 and not on porting this crap.

Songza/wii

Songza.com Is an amazing music website where you can search and listen to thousands of songs without having to download them or worry about illegal music. If you have a song on your mind chances are they have it on songza. You can even make a play list and save it to your user. Right now songza only works on PC's, but that is about to change. I sent them an email and here is their reply.

Hi, Thomas,

Thanks for the nice note. Great suggestion. We have heard from a few other Wii users, and we're planning to update our code in a future release to make it Wii-friendly.

Thanks for your patience.

Best wishes,

Wii Fit get!!

Got Wii fit today :)

So I finally got around to playing Wii fit, and I must say that it has me in a perplexed state. I played with it for one hour, and while I broke a small sweat I blame it on the sunny weather and not Wii fit.

Wii fit is a great tool for becoming more body conscious for those of you who need to watch your weight. Me on the other hand is the the type that is closer to being under weight than over.
And although I really enjoyed my first hour of fitness, I doubt that wii fit will keep me interested over a longer period of time. Normal games keep me interested with a goal I need to reach. If I where to set my self a goal in wii fit it would be to gain 6KG, and that I can't do with training alone.

The training games in wii fit where all simple and entertaining. I felt my heart rate go up and some of the exercises did feel tiering. But so far it's far from the training you would get from going to the gym (if you ever did go).

Wii fit could help me so that I'm more active and get a better posture. But with no real goal to reach I think it will be hard to stick to the program. Non the less, I'll do my best. I'll try to gain some muscles and tone my body. I'll use Wii fit and some weights and see if wii fit keeps me more motivated than normal. I'll try to update later and tell you if I still use Wii fit.

Fix for Ghosting on your Sony Bravia TV

Fix posted by "dj_uk" in the AVforums
Fix was made for the Sony KDF E50A12U
This Fix is for Sony Tv's that is ghosting in 60hz with HD signals.

Disclaimer.
This "solution" utilises a "service" menu, that only trained engineers should use.
Use of this information is entirely at your own risk, you mess up your telly, it's your own silly fault. Don't go messing with stuff in there you don't know about.

To bring up the "service" menu, put the TV in standby mode(turn it off with the remote),
then press in sequence :

Onscreen Display ( the little screen with the i+ in it )
5 ( channel number 5 )
Volume Up ( upper end of volume button )
Analogue ( middle top button )

The TV should switch on and when it's warmed up, you should see a screen with lots of big green lettering on it.

Press the "menu" button ( middle bottom )

Use the direction dial to move down to "LCD Drivers" and press right on the dial to enter this menu.

Move down to "S H Pos Reg R". It should be "10", change it to "11". ( Left/Right to adjust )
Move down to "S H Pos Reg G". It should be "10", change it to "11".
Move down to "SHPos Reg B". It should be "10", change it to "11".

Press the menu bottom to drop out of the menus, and the standy button to drop to standby. Switch back on, and hopefully your ghosting will be gone.

This has been dub this the "Spinal Tap" solution. Since... "if you put it on 11, that's 1 louder..."

Some Sony televisions use a different procedure to senter service mode:
Turn on the main power switch and enter into the stand-by mode.
Press the following sequence of buttons on the Remote Control:
    info/disp (OSD)
    5 (Number 5)
    vol+ (Volume Up)
    TV
    -or-
    [it]
    [5] (Number 5)
    [vol+] (Volume Up)
    [teletext off]
    -or-
On TV:
Hard Power On
On Remote:
Standby Off
[i+]
[5]
[Vol+]
Digital TV

Youtube video off this may come later.

Vblog: COD4, Endless ocean and Wii gun shell

I talk about Endless ocean and the sparkling Vibration gun shell for wii. And I do the FNG test in under 20 second In COD4.

Buy the gun shell here:
http://www.divineo.cn/cgi-bin/div-cn/...

Gun shell impression:
The rumble function sucked, other that it worked great. The Wiimote is a bit to loose. Using it feels better than not using a shell but the zapper is better. Trigger is responsive. At $10 it was worth the cash.

*Update*

I have tested other gun shells and I must say this kind is the worst of them. GAME has a cheap great gun shell that I preffere more than the orignal Zapper.
