Champions Online

Champions Onine is a new MMO. It's quite fun. You make your own superhero and customise their super skills. Only been playing it for a couple of hours, but making your own hero exactly as you like is nothing short of amazing.

Batman: Arkham Asylum

I got this game last week, and it's AMAZING.
I dont care if you like batman or not, this game is still worth buying. It's much better than the demo. What surprised me is how much of the game is exploring and solving riddles and clues to get to the next story part. It's like a mature version of Zelda. The game is not linear but still feels tight. And I do love the fighting system. I play on hard and you don't get help countering, but it's still smooth and intuitive. I'w Completed the game and WOW what a Ride!

I'w been watching this new reality show, It's basicly Big brother crossed with gaming. Each episode is based around one game, and the episode is composed of three parts, A real life challenge, A Game challenge and an elimination. Things get intense, and there's a big dose of drama to keep things interesting.

The show is 8 Episodes long and is soon done, It's highly recommended if you like reality shows and or Gaming.

Red Faction : Guerrulla

DEMO IS OUT. AND IT'S A BLAST.
Another Fun game to play around with, Has it's faults but still great fun. Be sure to download the demo, and give it a spin.

Ninja Blade

Ninjas are one of the coolest things in the world. And there's not that many good Ninja games. The best of the best is offcourse the Ninja Gaiden Series. But Ninja Blade is like the little brother. It's not that good looking, not that serious or doesn't excel at anything. But still great fun. You have to like QTE ( quick time events) though, cause this game has it like every 15minutes. But the QTE isn't annoying and will reward with you with some pretty awesome ninja action :) If you press the wrong button you only go back a button or two.

Another neat feature is the possibility to personalise your ninja Gear. I and my friend Maria (Rimfrost) made a totally kick ass Hello kitty Ninja with Pink and White ninja gear ^^

All in all I recommend this game to anyone that like ninja games, It's not a must have. But it's still great fun.

Godfather II

The first Godfather was a surprisingly good game, it did the most thing right. You would think the squeal could excel over the first, but it does so many things wrong. The game does have more depth than the first, but the driving and shooting is bad, the graphics are also a step back and the game has horrible pop-ins. Some vehicle comes into view in plain sight and turning the camera around may make cars disappear.

But looking past the errors, the game has a lot of content to please those who stick with it. Don't expect a GTA clone, and don't expect anywhere near the polsih of GTA or Saints Row. But if you like a Crime syndicate Simulator, Sims or things like that this game should float your boat.

Wanted

The movie was a entertaining popcorn movie, and the game is also fun way to spend a couple of hours. The game is no where near a quality game that you need/should play or own, but if you don't have anything else to play gives this game a rent. A 5hour long game that you are ready to put down when you have played through it. After completing the game you unlock some new modes and character, but most people will be glad to give the game back to the rental store.

Afro Samurai

Afro samurai the game...

I thought the Anime was a great way to waste a couple of hours, and I loved the style of the game. But after playing the game for more than 10minutes I quickly noticed that this game is a waste of time.

It's your average hack and slash with bad level design. The music is great though and the voice acting is on par with the series, but that isn't enough to save a bad game. Even if you are a fan I'd recommend waiting until you find it blood cheap or just renting it.

Wheelman

I'm really suprised on
how much I'm enjoying this game. I'm only about 30mins inn but it's great fun.

It won't win any "best game" awards, but it doesn't need to. Games doesn't have to be perfect to be fun, and this is a great example. Looking forward to playing it more.

update: Have played it for a couple of hours and the game is still great fun! Go and get your Diesel ON!

MadWorld

MadWorld is a great new game for the Nintendo Wii.

It's one of the most adult oriented game on the system and Platinum games did a great job on it.

I'm loving it so far and recommend it to everyone, that are old enough to play it :P

Resident Evil 5

Resident Evil 5 GET!

Done with the game, and the game was GOOD! I got 900Gamer score out of this game, it's a great example of replayability done right.

Quality game from start to fish. (But RE4 was a much better game) And I love how this games connects RE4 to the main story.

Halo Wars

I am finished with the main story now and boy what a ride. The main campaign stays fresh and at every new level you get new things and new objectives that amazes you.

Skirmish mode and Multiplayer are both good time wasters, but after being ridiculously beat down in a MP game I'm probably not going to ridicule myself again.

And I feel I must mention that the cinematics in this game is Some of the best I have seen. More than once I got goosebumps from them.

HawX

Been playing this game all week. And I must say, this game is BEawesome*.

This game does so much right and is really fun to play with a friends. The XP system means that replaying levels or playing multiplayer always gives you benefits, and the Jump in Jump out Co-Op should be a new standard in Co-op games. Bottom line, want a good arcade flight game? Buy this. It doesn't take it self to serious and because of that gives you a lot more fun that any flight game I have played.

Quick Killzone 2 Preview

This baby just arrived.

I played through the first few levels, and I'm glad to say that it impressed me a lot more than the Demo. The game does not require any install which was a huge surprise. And the story part that starts the game is amazing and makes the start of the game (Demo part) much more interesting. The story Graphics are insanely amazing, and the in game graphics aren't far behind.

Controls are like they where in the demo, rubbish. But using alternative 2 with hold to zoom and increased sensitivity makes the controls way better. Music is epic and enemy animation is one the the best character animation I have seen to date. First mission lets you drive a tank which was cool, and the tank controls where tight and satisfying. And there will be more vehicle missions later.

Having given it all that praise I feel I have to say that the game has it faults. It does not break any new ground, the controls could be better (I hope there is a patch). And the missions are so generic that it hurts some time. In one part of the mission you man a turret and have to gun down enemies, only to find out that there's an infinite enemies spawn nearby. :| After realizing the spawn pattern I moved forward and then the enemies stop spawning. Having just one primary weapon is a drag, and the weapons aren't as cool as the weapons in Killzone 1. I do miss that alternative fire form that game.
The game also briefly freezes when loading a new area.

Bottom line. The game is great. It deserves the praise it's getting. It doesn't do anything new, but for the most part does everything it does better than the rest. The missions so far isn't all that. But I hope the later missions will be better.
